General Rules and Guidelines:

  • Each vampire is free to be as independent as they wish, but should retain strong ties to their sire.
  • Stay in contact with each other; you are all family and should act as such.
  • Try not to provoke fights with others. There is little point in fighting without reason; weapons are not cheap and if your blood does not need to be spilled, it should remain in your body.
  • Honor, eloquence, and loyalty are valued. Betrayal, deceit, and stupidity are unacceptable.
  • You are expected to obey the house heads. Any possible commands (of which there will be few of, if any at all) are to be obeyed, although you are certainly free to question as to why.
  • One's actions must, quite obviously, remain in the realm of common sense.
  • Your blood may be taken from the source of your choosing, although human blood is generally best. Not only is animal blood considered lowly, it provides less sustenance.
  • The name of Hagakura is given when earned.

Siring, Binding, and Clans

Siring:
  • Before siring, you should at least have the following powers: Suction, Perception, Stamina-1, Shadows-3, and Thievery-3. Second-sight and Celerity-1 will be taught to childer who gain these powers, as a reward for their hard work in attaining the base powers. Having Surprise as soon as possible is also strongly recommended - You do not have to be fully-powered (FP) to sire, but it is preferable to be FP before siring or binding. This will ensure that you have less distractions to deal with.
  • Be sure you are ready to handle the responsibility of teaching and taking care of your childe. The other members of the House will help if need be, but responsibility lies primarily with the actual sire.

Binding:
  • You should think carefully about whom you bind to. "Divorce" is not cheap and may affect you in other ways.
  • You must have permission from the house heads to bind. We will give permission easily enough, unless we know your potential partner has an incredibly bad reputation. Even then, you may attempt to convince us why we should give permission.

Clans:
  • You are free to join any clan you wish, so long as the house heads know which one.
  • You should speak with the house heads before engaging in any fighting. If you are unprepared, there is no need for your clan to force you into doing anything.
  • Your loyalty lies with clan and family equally; however, an order from the house heads takes precedence over one from your clan leader.
